I've been getting multiple messages asking me to speak about my formal look- which actually got me the best dressed female. To tell you the truth, this was the easiest look I've ever done! I did the makeup of 5 girls, only had 30minutes to get ready and couldn't even curl my hair! But its ok! I guess it all worked out! The thing is people usually dress up in black in formal events. I love black dresses, however when everyone is wearing black- its hard to stand out. So, I chose a straight cut short, royal blue with a halter cut. See the pic below
I can't stress how easy this look is. You just need a vibrant blue dress and accessorize it with silver. I got the silver shoes at "Necessary Clothing" for $19.99. They are comfortable and very cute. Steve Madden and Aldo's had similar shoes but range from $60- $120- and a fashionista is a recessionista! lol
Because it was a halter cut dress, I did not wear much jewelry- I just wore some dramatic earrings- which I bought at forever 21 for about $8.00 Check below
As far as the makeup, I kept it glamorous yet simple enough for anyone to duplicate. I used Silver, a darker shimmery silver and royal blue- which I blended in with the dark shimmery silver. Please comment below if you want me to explain how I did my eyes.
